Tom Fox
"Hudson River Park: Model for Niagara River?"

Tom Fox directed the design of the 40-mile Brooklyn/Queens Greenway and established a unique City/State Authority to develop the 4.5 mile, $300 million Hudson River Park in Manhattan. In his presentation he shared successes and failures and lessons he has experienced.

After having toured the Niagara River in his visit to Buffalo, he sees great potential for a park linking Buffalo to Niagara Falls. He urged Campaign For Buffalo Executive Director Tim Tielman and State Assembly Member Sam Hoyt to join forces with many other advocates and legislators in promoting a bill for the multi-year, multi-million dollar project.

About 250 people attended the event, the third and final day in the Campaign For Buffalo's annual Architectural Tent Revival.
